On Russia's re-election to the IMO Assembly
On 29 November 2019 the 31st Assembly of IMO took place in London at the IMO Headquarters. The IMO Assembly has elected Members of its Council for the 2020-2021 biennium, including re-electing Russia under category (A), among the 10 States with the largest interest in providing international shipping services.
The Russian Embassy hosted a Reception to mark Russia’s re-election to the IMO Assembly. Guest were welcomed by His Excellency Mr Andrei Kelin, Ambassador of Russia to the UK, Mr Kitack Lim, IMO Secretary-General, Mr Yuriy Tsvetkov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation – Head of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport and Mr Yuri Melenas, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the IMO.
