Delivery of another shipment of Russian humanitarian aid to Syria
On the 3 December, an Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered 25 tons of urgent humanitarian aid (food) to Latakia, for the Syrian population suffering from the internal armed conflict in Syria. Another Russian humanitarian operation was carried out with security guarantees ensured by the Syrian authorities. Russia will continue to provide the necessary humanitarian aid to the friendly Syrian people, both through specialised international organisations and bilaterally, as well as to assist Russian nationals who are permanently resident in Syria and wish to leave the country for security reasons.
